Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad
The personality of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad is a mixture of many qualities. You initially inspired Allama Iqbal with concern for the establishment of the government of God. According to Dr. Israr Ahmad, one of your groups is established in the name of Hizbullah. You are a direct disciple of Allama Shibli Nomani. You have a special passion and love for the Holy Quran. According to Dr. Israr Ahmad, your Surah Fatiha Tafsir is a masterpiece of Urdu literature, and also a beautiful marker of the glory and beauty of the Holy Qur’an. And according to Dr. Sahib himself, there is no answer to your research and investigation on some subjects of Surah Kahf. You clearly explained the importance of establishing an Islamic system through pamphlets like “Al-Hilal” and “Al-Balag”.
Maulana Syed Abul Ala Maududi (RA)
The entire life of Maulana Syed Abul Ala Maududi (RA) was a struggle for the supremacy and establishment of religion. Taking inspiration from the writings of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad (RA) and on the basis of his knowledge and contemplation, he wrote a landmark book “Jihad fi al-Salam” at a very young age, in which he explained the true concept of jihad and the struggle for the supremacy of religion. He founded the Jamaat-e-Islami on the model of Maulana Azad’s Hizbullah for the establishment of the rule of Allah. He clearly explained the concept of religion and the concept of religious obligations.
Dr. Israr Ahmed
The personality of Dr. Israr Ahmed does not need any introduction. You gained favor from the above eight personalities and always described them. Dr. Sahib said that it is not that I am in perfect agreement with everything said by these eight personalities, but the fact is that I have learned a lot from all of them, but there are also differences with them. Be it the revolutionary thought of Islam or the high-level scientific discussions of the truth of faith, the comprehensive concept of religious duties or the difficult stages of congregation formation, love with the Holy Quran and teaching its reading or its subjects and the poem of the Quran and the wisdom of the Quran. Dr. Sahib got the basic education of various aspects, all these sciences and issues directly and indirectly from the eight personalities. Regarding Tafsir-e-Uthmani, Dr. Sahib used to say, “Through it, I am clinging to the predecessors.” Whenever we see that Dr. Sahib, whether it is a series of Qur’an lessons or a visit to the Qur’an during the nights of Ramadan, he always performed this service through Tafsir-e-Othmani.
Sheikh-ul-Hind Maulana Mahmood-ul-Hasan
He was the owner of such a comprehensive personality on which all three schools of thought (Deobandi, Barelvi and Ahl-e-Hadith) of Ahl-e-Sunnah wal-Jamaaat agreed. He was the first president of Jamiat Ulema-i-Hind. You have made significant contributions to the freedom movement against the British. The Silk Handkerchief movement was also started under his leadership for the same freedom movement and in this connection he was arrested during the Hijaz journey for Hajj and he spent four years in prison in Malta in his old age. He was a great scholar of ancient sciences, in which a prominent glimpse of the character of the ancestors could be seen.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Allama Shabbir Ahmed Osmani
Shaykh-ul-Islam Allama Shabir Ahmed Osmani was a scholarly and motivational personality. He continued the commentary work of his teacher Shaykh-ul-Hind Maulana Mahmood-ul-Hassan’s translation of the Qur’an-e-Majeed and wrote the notes of the remaining twenty-five verses. Sheikh-ul-Hind’s translation, which is available with his footnotes, is known as “Tafseer-e-Uthmani” after his name. He played a prominent role in the freedom movement. Quaid-e-Azam entrusted the responsibility of hoisting the flag at the official level and he also led the funeral prayer of Quaid-e-Azam.
Maulana Hameeduddin Farahi
Maulana Hameeduddin Farahi was a pure academic personality. The love of the Holy Qur’an was full of love in him. In your academic services, opening and clarifying the aspect of “Quran’s order” in a new way in the context of the understanding of the Qur’an and the interpretation of the Qur’an. You have worked on the reasoning aspect of the Qur’an and based on the pure Qur’an-e-Hakim. He also laid the foundation of the new science of religion. He was also a special student of Allama Shibli Naumani. Regarding his writings, Dr. Israr Ahmed in his book “Islam and Pakistan” has stated that “Maulana Farahi’s writings were very simple but reasoned.”
Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi
Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi was a direct disciple of Allama Hameeduddin Farahi. Continuing the work of his teacher, he wrote a masterpiece entitled “Principles of Qur’anic Principles” on the principles of the Qur’anic poem for the scholars of the Qur’anic sciences. Later, he wrote a commentary on the entire Qur’an under the title of “Tadbur-e-Qur’an” in the same style. Also wrote You were among the vanguard of Jamaat-e-Islami. And according to Dr. Israr Ahmad, you and Maulana Maududi actually worked like one man and two men. If there was any personality after Maulana Maududi in Jamaat-e-Islami, it was Maulana Islahi. Dr. Muhammad Rafiuddin
Dr. Muhammad Rafiuddin is called the commentator of the late Allama Iqbal. He carried forward the work of Allama Iqbal through his writings and presented the systematic teachings of Allama in the paraphrase of prose by adorning them with the garb of research at a high academic level. In your book “Ideology of the Future” you have proved with high academic arguments that if any ideology will be able to stand in the future, it will only be the ideology of Islam. He wrote several books and articles on the renaissance of Islam. Moreover, you have rendered valuable services in framing the Islamic education system in Pakistan and giving your recommendations in this regard. He made the correct theory of history, correct Islamic research, refutation of anti-Islamic philosophies and many similar topics the subject of his pen. He wrote a great and masterpiece like “Hikamat-e-Iqbal” in which the teachings of Allama Iqbal and especially his self-view were clearly explained. For this reason, Dr. Israr Ahmad also called him “Sharh-e-Iqbal”.
